Quote:
1)For Getting Scholarship in the field of Research. 2)For becoming a Lecturer in Colleges/University. If you are interested in doing the any above two, then there is no need to do B.Ed course. However if you are Interested getting government jobs in Government schools, then B.ed Degree is Sufficient for that. However,if you will apply for UGC-NET Exam, you will require to fulfill these Eligibility :- Marks :- -->>If you are from General Category - 55% in Post Graduation. -->>If you are from SC/ST/OBC - 50% in Post Graduation. You can apply only for NET exam. B.Ed degree is mandatory to apply for M.Ed. admissions are done via entrance exams. Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks is the basic qualification for NET. If you satisfy these requirements, you can apply for NET through UGC portal.

Re: After M.Com should I go for M.Ed and NET or only NET?
First let me mention one thing that, first you have to do B.Ed. Only then can you do M.Ed. So after your M.Com degree, you must sit for entrance examination taken for B.Ed. Let me tell you nowadays the scope of NET in lectureship has become very low. If your surf the internet and look for vacant lecturer positions in government colleges then seldom will you find such a position. But every year many candidates pass out NET. So it is not possible to accommodate everybody. So all your effort might go in vain.
Instead, if you do, B.Ed. and then later on M.Ed. then you are sure to secure a teaching job in a school. Most schools look for candidate shaving B.Ed. So prepare yourself in subjects like quantitative aptitude, Mathematics, reasoning, etc. These will be required when you sit for multiple choice type entrance examination of B.Ed. If you secure more than 50%, you can get a chance to study B.Ed. in that college. |
