Yes you must give improvement exam because this low marks effect your carrier ..
so i suggest you friend even you drop one year but you must have 1st class in your
+2 exam for your good carrier .

your 10+2 score is not so good but if you have try hard then you have to score some good percentage.

if you want to choose some another domain then it is better for you.

you should join BCA or BBA because now these two department increase rapidly.

improvement exam held after 1 year with new batch of 12
you are supposed to fill the improvement for 2 subject
each subject cost you 100rs
and if progess is their then marks will change otherwise remain same
result will declared with new batch result declaration

improvement examination is the examination for those candidate who are not satisfied with their previous result. you are not satisfied with your 12th result then you may appear in improvement examination. but you should not have any backlog in any subject you have to completely pass 12th examination to appear in improvement examination.

after appearing improvement examination the marks of improvement examination will be considered as final. if it is decrease then your 12th marks will decrease if it is increased then marks will increase. the marks of improvement examination will reflect in your 12th result.

generally practical examination marks is carry forward from the previous year examination. there is no practical examination in improvement examination. you have to only appear in theory examination.

if you appear in 12th examination then don't take it easily. prepare from the starting of the session.

what is the procedure for improvement exam for maths and date also?

I got 56% in 12th (Maharastra HSC 2011)with very less in PCB only 47%.So I filled up improvement.But do not know when will b improvement exam in 2011 for 12th and is this result will be valid for admission into MBBS,BDS next year.please give brief information.

yes,you can surely give the improvement exam..just fill the form for the improvement exam..then you will be required to give the exam in the next board exams with your juniors and you will get a new marksheet with your new marks..

With this marks its very difficult to sit for most of the competitive entrance exams and even get honors subjects to study for that matter.

So yes its better if you give the exam another time from your school only as an external.

For that you have to write a letter to the boards. Take help from the administrative officers in your school. They will guide you through this.

When the formalities are done. Start preparing hard for the exam. Hope you will do well this time.

I am B.Sc.(I.T.) holder.Can i give class improvement exam for SSC and HSC (science).But i completed my SSC in 2007 and HSC in 2009.It is possible to give class improvement exam? What will be effect on my degree? and if it is possible then how and where can apply for that?

Dude who Ever You are I think we both share a similar Problem, Mines Worse I think.
I have Scored 50% in SSC in 2006 in First Attempt.

then I took Up HSC in Computer Science.

I have Scored 48.17% in HSC in October 2008 (Second Attempt , Since I failed on the First Attempt).

Then I did B.Sc.(I.T) Scored 66.26% in 5 sem and 70.62% in 6 Sem Aggregate Of which is 68.51% in First Attempt.
I would also like to mention that i cleared all the Sems (1-6) with 60% and above all in First attempt.

Because of my Low Score in SSC and HSC i was not able to give any Campus Interviews as most of them have eligibility Criteria of Greater than 60% in both.

I dont know what to I too wish that I could again Give My SSC and HSC exams.

I would also like to mention that I have Scored well in MAH-MCA-CET and My rank is 38 from Mumbai University and 75 From Maharashtra State.

I can easily get admission in any top most college in Mumbai but worry about getting left out in Campus interviews.

Also I think No Company will Offer me Job because of my HSC percentage.

The Improvement Exam is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, therefore you must have completed 12th standard from the CBSE in order to appear for the Improvement Exam.

Your marks are low in 12th standard and its quite obvious that you want to increase it. The reasons could be many. You might have been facing trouble taking admission for graduation courses like LLB, Engineering, MBBS etc.

You may also feel that low score in 12th could be problem later on when applying for the job. Various companies want candidate to have minimum of 50/60 percent marks in 10th, 12th and graduation as well.

You can appear for the next Improvement Exam which will be held in 2014 if you have completed 12th this year. You can appear for 1 or all 5 subjects depending on your choice.

However I will recommend all 5 subjects otherwise you will be walking about with 2 sets of marksheets which can be odd. Besides if you want to appear for Joint Entrance Exam then you are required to appear for the all 5 subjects.

Must remember the following points carefully.

1.Your improvement exam mark sheet will be treated equally as 12th board.

2. You can not appear for Improvement Exam in the failed subjects. Must have passed them in order to appear.


The Forms for the improvement exam will be released in August/September. Please visit the website of Central Board of Secondary Education to get more information.

The forms can be collected from the Syndicate Bank and complete the registration process including submission of the fee to appear for the Improvement Exam.

The next improvement exam will be conducted in 2014. You should have completed 12th this year to appear for it.

Yes, you can give the Improvement exam
if your well in improvement examination then you get the good percentage and friend don't put the doubt will decrease the marks in improvement exam... if you want to get the best percentage then you need to be wellprepare for improvement examination...

To the best of my knowledge, one can give Improvement Exam for 11th class subjects and not for 12th class subjects.

This is as per Board of Intermediate norms. The percentage of your 10+2 in the sense the average percentage of marks that you scored in both the years and not in a single year.

So, what I will suggest you is that, if at all you scored less number of marks in any of the subjects of 11th class, better you can apply for Improvement Exams for only those subjects.

44% of marks is not all enough to apply for various job opportunities in your future.

Make sure that you will be having a minimum of 60% of marks in your 12th class by the time you complete the course.

In addition to 12th class, choose the Entrance Exam in accordance to the course that you are going to join in your Graduation.

Try to join in a Coaching Institute to prepare for that Exam and secure good rank in the Entrance Exam.

Then you will be given admission for Graduation course in a top college.

Once you get admission in top college or university, there is a great scope for you to gain good subject knowledge and enhance your communication skills.

By showcasing the same in the Interview, it is very easy for you to get a job.
