The Gujarat Class 12 Biology paper for English as well as the Gujarati medium follows the same pattern. It is a 100 mark paper for three hours. The paper is divided into four sections namely Section A,B,C and D.

Section A is a multiple choice question. There will be 16 of this type. Section B and C both include single questions carrying one mark each. Section D comprises of 11 questions of three marks. The answers for this section have to be supported with tables and adequate diagrams if any. There is no negative marking on the paper. This allows the student to make a tentative guess while answering.

The paper is not very lengthy and you can easily complete it in the given time frame. All the questions in the paper are based on the revised syllabus. It is important to note that the paper is very scoring and one can secure a good deal of marks in the first three sections itself. The paper will be assessed by the board and the marks will be put out within three to four months upon taking the exam. You can send the paper for a revaluation if you are not satisfied.
