Age Criteria for the Civil Services Examination.

The Civil Services examination is conducted by UPSC in every year. There are many examination comes under the civil services examination like IAS, IPS, IFS...etc. If you want to know the age criteria for the Civil services examination then here i give you the details information about the eligibility criteria of Civil services examination.

Educational Qualification = Graduation in any stream from a recognize University. The final year graduation student are also eligible for the Civil services examination.

Age Limit = the age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the candidates belong to reservation category.

For SC/ST category candidates :- 5 years i.e the age must be between 21 to 35 years.
For OBC category candidates :- 3 years i.e the age must be between 21 to 33 years.
For Ex-service man :- 5 years i.e the age must be between 21 to 35 years.

Dear friend,

Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC .

Only those persons are completed their graduation in any stream from any recognized university are applicable for Civil service exam.

But your age should be in between 20 to 30 years.

Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

For OBC candidate , the age relaxation is provide 3 years and for SC/ST candidate provide 5 years.

dear friends.

yes there is relaxation in the age limit in the case of SC/ST/OBC/PD.

Age limits For IAS exam:

The candidates age must be between 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011.

Upper age limit relaxation for SCs/STs, OBCs

relaxation in the age limit:-

for sc & sc the relaxation in age is 5 year.

in case of obc the relaxation is of 3 years.

in case of physically disable relaxation is for 5 year.

in case of PD+ sc/st relaxation is for 10 year.

yes there is age limit of 21 to 30 years for generals and there is different rexation in age for reserved catagories as
SC/ST category candidates :- 5 years
OBC category candidates :- 3 years
Ex-service man :- 5 years
