I have one doubt - any age criteria for applying in Air Force jobs.

Yes, there is an age limit to apply for jobs in Indian Air Force. It is different for different posts. You haven’t mentioned for which designation you have opted for in IAF. Please visit the official website of IAF to know about the age limits. The notification for various jobs in IAF will be published in foremost employment dailies. You may be able to know about the vacancies in IAF from the Indian Air Force site also.

Age criteria varies with entry schemes and qualification.

Through NDA (10+2 PCM) maximum age limit is 19.5 years.
Through graduation maximum age limit is 23/24 years.
Engineering entry schemes is 24/25 and University entry schemes is 28.
Category X (airman category) maximum age limit is 21 years.

Jobs in Indian air force as a ground duty officers and as a flying officers.

To get into these jobs you have to clear lot of the PRELIMINARY stages like clearing NDA or CDSE, after that clearing SSB having personal interview and lost more.

But don't worry if you desire to take part in one of the most adventurous Job, then you should full fill some Eligibility criteria. like

If you are 12 passed or appearing student then for you the mode of Entry is NDA and your age should be in between 19 half to 21 half.

And if you are graduation passed or final year student then for CDSE exam is there or UES scheme , for which you have to be less than 23 half of the age.

Yes there is the criteria of age limit in Indian Air force.The criteria of age limit varies according to the entry in Indian Air force. The various entry and the age limit for that entry in Indian Air force is mentioned below:

Entry Through NDA
Age limit:16½ - 19 years
Education Qualification:10+2 passed or appeared in 10+2 exams.


Entry through CDS
Age limit:
1.For IMA 19 - 24 years
2.For NA 19 - 22 years
3.For AFA 19 - 23 years
Education Qualification:Graduate in any discipline.

University Entry Scheme
Final Year students should not be below 20 years and not above 25 years.
Education Qualification:B.E/B.Tech student of final year apply for this.

Airmen entry:
'X' Technical Trade:
Age Limit : 16-22 years
Educational Qualification :
Passed 10+2 Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 60% marks.

'Y' Non Technical Trade:
Age : 16-20 years
Passed 10+2 in any stream 60% marks in aggregate.

criteria:-

Candidates should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.

OR

Should have passed a 3 year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology) with at least 50% marks from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic Institute.

Eligible criteria for TET

ELIGIBILITY

For class 1 to 5th

Senior Secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks OR
Passed or appearing in final 2 yrs. diploma in elementary education

For Classes 6th – 7th

B.A. / B.Sc. from recognized college OR
Passed or appearing in final 2 yrs. diploma in elementary education.

1. Paper I: For those want to become teachers for classes I-V.
2. Paper II: For those want to teach classes between VI and VIII.
3. Paper I and II: Those interested in teaching from Class I to VIII will have to appear and qualify in both the papers.

- a candidate should have B.ED with minimum 60% marks

-an appearing candidate can also apply for this

-the degree shouldn't be of more than 7 years

there is no upper or lower age limit specified for man or woman

and criteria is depend on which post you are applying because the

you did not mention here your current qualification,
If you are in 12th, then you can appear in NDA (national defense academy),.
for appear in this examination,. conducted by UPSC ,you must have 12th degree from a recognized board.
also you must have subject physics- maths in 12th,.having at least 60% in 12th.
the age limit for this examination is 16.5-19.

If you are graduate, then you can apply via CDS examination, conducted by UPSC ,.
the age limit for this examination is 19-23 years.

There are some selection procedure such as:

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)

According to the Eligibility Criteria:

Flying branch as pilot will be selected through Short Service Commission for men & women

Age:

i)19 to 23 years
ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India.
Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years.

Marital Status:
You have to be Single.

Nationality:
You have to be Indian

Gender:
Men and women can apply for the examination.

Educational Qualifications

1:You have to be Graduate of 3 years course in any discipline from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

or
You should have a degree of BE / B Tech of 4 years course from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on the performance in AFCAT followed by Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and Interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).
Candidates applying for Flying Branch must appear for Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) based on their choice of branch/eligibility.
