hi i just wanted to clarify whether aieee is really necessary for b.arch or only nata is enough to get into good colleges?

Both of them open doors to good colleges .. aieee will get you into NIT's,bii meshra,SPA
NATA' is special entrance to arc. courses... NMIMS etc
i would say appear for both and take the better option that you get

Hi,

You can get into the top architecture colleges through both of these entrance tests.

The difference is that under NATA ,there are more private institutes than Govt institutes. Whereas AIEEE offers number of reputed Govt and dean colleges and as well as private colleges.

So appear in any one of these exams or both exams according to your capability.

Both NATA and AIEEE examination are equally important. To get admission in top colleges of India you have to apply for these examinations.

NATA scores are not used by AIEEE to provide admission to the students, intead of that AIEEE conducts seperate architecture aptitute test for providing admission.

NATA scores are used by many other universities, so it would be better to appear in both the exams.

B.Arch is a good program you can pursue. For that you must have a 50 – 55% of marks. You must write an NATA entrance exam also. Some entrance tests are like AIEEE, IIT JEE are also required etc. As it is a program with many opportunities, you can choose to be an architecture engineer, technician, professor etc. Chances are available in Railways, PWD department etc too.

aieee is important indeed but a good nata score is also enough for admissions

if in 12 you are having math with 50% marks then you are eligible for aieee barch

AIEEE is not compulsory but it is also a gateways to good colleges for B.ARCH
