I am an ST candidate can I get a seat in Nit Warangal through he Aieee exam of 2016? Last year Aieee was not conducted, but this year it is going to be conducted or not?

AIEEE stands for All Indian Engineering Entrance Examination. This exam is replaced by Joint Entrance Examination Main. So, no more AIEEE is conducted. Admission to National Institute of Technology is given through JEE Main rank.

Eligibility criteria for exam is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with PCM as compulsory subjects.

Online applications for JEE Main 2016 is available, you can fill it at official website of JEE, http://www.jeemain.nic.in

JEE which stands for Joint Entrance Examination and is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education replacing AIEEE and IIT JEE exams.

JEE exam has two stages:

1. JEE Main.

2. JEE Advanced

JEE Main is equivalent to AIEEE and on the basis of rank in this exam, admission to various NITs, IIITs and other government engineering college is given whereas on basis of JEE Advanced, admission in IIT is given.

To appear for JEE Advanced, one must clear JEE main stage exam. You can apply for JEE Main 2016 at http://www.jeemain.nic.in if you have done 10+2 with PCM subjects or appearing for it.

No, AIEEE will not be conducted in 2016.

AIEEE exam has been replaced by JEE Main exam.

Online Registration will Started From:-November 2015

Last date for Online Registration will Close on:-December, 2015

Let me tell you that AIEEE has been replaced with JEE Mains and Advanved, so you have to appear in this exam to get seat where you want.

Eligibility:

Applicant must have done 12th from recognized board with non medical stream with at least 50% marks.

Age 17-25 years.

Only those candidates are allowed to seat in Advanced exam who qualify Mains exam.

Sorry, to inform you that now there is no such examination as AIEEE. So to get admission in NIT and IIT candidates now have to qualify in JEE examination.

JEE examination is conducted in two stages as Main and Advance. So, you need to qualify in Main examination to get admission in NIT.

The online application form for JEE examination is available at www.cbse.nic.in. The examination will be conducted on 03rd April 2016 in offline based.

So, you have to qualify in Main examination for admission in NIT. Since, you belong to ST category there will be relaxation in cut off marks for you. The examination will be conducted on 3rd April and application form is available now.

Earlier All India Engineering Entrance examination was conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in undergraduate courses of engineering in NITs and other government colleges of engineering.

But this exam was replaced by a combined entrance exam for IITs and NITs called Joint Entrance Exam which is also conducted by CBSE. JEE Main is the first stage whose rank card is used for admission in NITs and IIITs and other government engineering colleges.

No, you are not eligible to get admission in NIT ( National Institute of Technology ) through AIEEE examination.

To get admission in NIT candidates have to appear and qualify in JEE examination. JEE Main is conducted by CBSE where as JEE Advanced by IIT. Candidates have to qualify in JEE Main for selection of admission in NIT.

To appear in examination you need to fill the online application form available at www.cbse.nic.in or www.jeemain.nic.in.

All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) is conducted by C.B.S.E board every year for admitting students into various colleges of India for many courses like B.E/B.TEC etc.

- Candidates needs to complete 10+2 level of study with Science stream (PCM/or any other equivalent subject) in order to appear for this exam. Candidate age should be within 25 years. There is a 5 years of age relaxation given to reserved candidates (SC/ST/PWD)
