Re: Am I eligible to apply for CTET after completing MCom?
CTET examination is conducted for recruitment as teacher in government stages.
For appearing in entrance examination for selection as higher secondary teacher is that candidate must have passed master degree and have B.Ed qualification. So, if you do not have B.Ed or D.Ed you are not eligible to appear in examination. For more information visit at www.ctet.nic.in. |

Re: Am I eligible to apply for CTET after completing MCom?
CTET refers to Central Teacher Eligibility Test and it is held for recruitment of teachers across various CBSE affiliated private or government schools.
The minimum education required for appearing in the CTET for primary school teacher ( i.e; upto Class V) is a higher secondary school degree along with a two year D.Ed/D.El.Ed or other equivalent degree course with at least 50% marks from a recognized board while the minimum education to become teacher for Classes VI to VIIi is a bachelor's degree along with B.Ed degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. So, being a student of M.Com degree course, you are not eligible for appearing in the CTET unless you hold a teaching professional degree course such as D.Ed/D.El.Ed/B.Ed degree along with regular academic degree course. For more details regarding the CTET eligibility, you can refer to the link www.ctet.nic.in. |
