im doing BA (hons) Spanish from Delhi University...i just wanna know m i eligible for CDS examination...? as it's a Foreign Language i was wondering im not applicable for dis exam...i have a great passion for ARMY...i wanna join..

Yes, you are eligible to join army. Graduates in any subject can join IMA and Officers Training Academy. Age of the applicant must be between 18 and 22 years. Also you must be an unmarried male candidate. Detailed information can be collected from UPSC portal.

Yes, you are eligible for C.D.S. Examination.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services.

CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year.



Requires Education Qualification:

For Indian Army : The candidate must have graduated degree from any recognized university.

For Indian Navy : The candidate must have completed his graduated degree in Engineering.

For Indian Air Force : The candidate must have completed graduation Degree with physics and mathematics as there subjects.

*Note : As per your qualifications you are only eligible in Indian Army.
For Indian Army the age of candidate must be between 19 to 22 years.

>>The candidate must be Physically and Mentally fit.

The selection procedure consists of three steps:
>>Written Exam
>>SSB Interview
>>Medical Test

Yes, you are eligible for appy CDS entrance exam.

CDS stand for Combined Defence Service.

CDS exam conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year.

CDS exam is conducts for following wings:- Indian Military Academy, Officers’ Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

For Indian Military Academy/Officers’ Training Academy: -

Candidate should be complete Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.

For Indian Naval Academy:-

Candidate should be complete a Graduation degree with studied maths,phyaics,chemistry in b.tech or equivalent from a recignised University.

For Air Force Academy:-

Degree of a recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering from a recignised University.

Age limit:-

For Indian Military Academy - Age should be between 19 years to 24 years.

For Officers’ Training Academy - Age should be between 19 years to 25 years.

For Indian Naval Academy - Age should be between 19 years to 22 years.

For Air Force Academy - Age should be between 19 years to 23 years.

There is no age relaxation for CDS exam.
