NDA NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY




Friend yes off course you eligible for 2013 NDA your birth year is 1994 and you become 18 year and 3 month on Feb 2013 so You are Eligible

1. Qualification required
Candidate should complete the 12th with science (physics,chemistry,math ) from any recognized board .

2.Age limit = 16.5 to 19 years.

3. 6/6 vision is required.


Important Dates:
Start Date of online Registration NDA I Exam : Feb-2013
Start Date of online Registration NDA II Exam: July-2013

How To Apply:
The only method to apply is online; all the candidates have to apply online on the official website of UPSC. Some times the UPSC website goes down due to heavy traffic so at that time wait for some time and then apply.



Application Fee:
Candidate have to pay Rs.50/- only (SC/ST/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from fee) by internet banking or by submitting the fee in any SBI Bank.


Exam Pattern:
The NDA exam is on the basis of objective paper, in this candidate have to tick/ darken the oval only in their answer sheets. There is also a penalty for wrong answers i.e. negative marking for every wrong answer.

N.D.A EXAM ELIGIBILITY:-
> Pass 12th with any stream like Science, Commerce and Arts from recognized University or board.

> You should be medically fit(No major surgery in your body).
> NO relaxation for ST/SC candidate.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is an entrance exam for admissions into Defence Academy like Army, Navy and Airforce. The minimum educational qualification is 10 2 standard. The age limit is 17-21 years. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission every year. They conduct two exams NDA-1 & NDA-2 every year. There is also B-Tech course in Naval Academy. After getting qualified in the written test there will be physical test and interview. Canditates can chose one of the branch in Defence Academy like Army , Navy & Airforce. Candidates who have qualified in all tests are taken into the Defence Academy and they will be given training. They can apply through online mode for the applications of NDA exam.

Last date to apply is 21st January 2013

Age limits for this exams is minimum 16.5 years
maximum age 19 years
Candidates born between 2nd January 1995 to 1st January 1997 can apply

Since you were born on 10th December 1994, you are NOT ELIGIBLE to APPLY for the next NDA exams

Eligibility For NDA Exam

Candidates are eligible for appearing for the National Defense Academy (NDA) only if :-

>> The candidate is an unmarried male..

>> The candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years

>> Candidate must either be appearing for 12th boards or must have completed 12th..

Since, you are 1994 born hence you are perfectly eligible for the NDA-1 and NDA-2 exams going to be conducted on April,2013 and August,2013 respectively..

The forms for the NDA-1 shall be available from 22nd December,2012 to 21st January,2013

The exam will be conducted on 7th April,2013..
