You are also eligible for group-1,and the date for appling for group-2 are over,so I will advice you to apply for group-1,it consists of mainly executive post which are more convinient then gruop-2 which consists of posts like-municiple commissioner,sub-megistrate etc.

but the last date of submission of application forms for this year was 30th december 2009,so you can not apply now.

There are four groups in this exam they are group 1,2,3and 4,that is higher position to lower position.

BE,MSC , etc...comes under group 1 and next level positions go for other 3 groups.

In order to appear in TNPSC(Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission),you will require the following Eligibility :-

Nationality - Indian.

Language Known :- English,Tamil.

Educational qualification :-

>>You must be graduation pass out in any stream from recognized university.

NOTE :- Here your B.TECH degree will be acts as a graduation degree.

Age :-

-->>Your minimum age should be 21 years.
