Re: Am I eligible for IAS after passing B.A 2nd year
Bachelor degree is the basic eligibility for IAS. You must qualify CSAT to get in to the same. You can’t apply for the exam right now. Those who have completed graduation or those candidates who are in the final year of their studies can apply. Final year students must submit the proof of graduation at the time of interview.

Re: Am I eligible for IAS after passing B.A 2nd year
No, you are not eligible for giving IAS after just passing B.A 2nd year.
Because the least eligibility criteria for IAS is Bachelor degree. Students in final year with proof of graduation must be there at interview time or completed degree can appear for the exam. Eligibility criteria: (i) Age limits : 21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice). (ii) Educational Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification Good Luck |
