My eye are weak . my chasma no. is 1.9 .can i m eligible to NDA

YES YOU CAN APPLY FOR NDA EXAM!
HERE IS THE CRITERIA- PHYSICAL STANDARDS: (A) Minimum Height: Army - 157.5Cms, Navy - 157.5 Cms, Air Force (Pilot) - 162.5Cms. (B) Eye Sight: For Army - To read in a distant vision chart with each eye, with or without glasses, Myopia: Not more than 2.5 D, Hypermetropia: Not more than 3.5 D including Astigmatism. For Navy - Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6. Near vision N-5 each eye, Color vision CPI (MLT). Myopia: Not to exceed 0.75 D in either eye, Hypermetropia: Not more than 1.5 D (better eye) and 2.5 D (worse eye) For Army - Distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6. Near vision N-5 each eye, Myopia: Nil, Hypermetropia: +2 D Sph. Astigmatism +0.75 Color Vision CPI (MLT). (C) Weight: Appropriate weight as per age and height (chart available with SKYLINE) (D) Chest : Minimum 5 CMS full expansion on inhalation Note: For Pilot leg length must be between 99Cms to 120 CMS Thigh length: Max of 64 CMS Sitting height: 81.5 CMS to 96 CMS |

Details about NDA:
NDA Exam is conducted for candidates to join in defence forces of India Indian Army Indian Navy Indian Air Force This exam is being carried out by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).This exam is being held every year twice namely as NDA I and NDA II. The candidates who wants to apply for the NDA Exam must have satisfied the eligibility criteria framed by the NDA Exam. Eligibility for NDA: The candidate must have a citizenship in India. Candidate applying for the NDA Exam must be a unmarried male candidate The age limit for the exam specifies that the candidate must have a age between 16 1/2-19 years. The education qualification stats that the candidate must have completed +2 from a recognized board of school education with a fair percentage with physics and mathematics as subjectsfor joining in Air Force and Navy. The candidate joining in for Indian Army must have a education qualification must have completed +2 from a recognized school board The candidate appearing for the NDA exam must be a physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam. Eligibility criteria:-
For Army wing:- The candidate must have complete the 12th with 60% marks.. For Navy:- The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , chemistry , maths with 60% marks.. For Air force:- The candidate must have complete the 12th with physics , maths.. Age criteria:- The age should be in between 16.5-19 years. THE EYESIGHT PARAMETER FOR EYE Height/weight for Navy |

Notify in Employment News and leading Daily news Paper-
Mar and Oct Notified by UPSC Eligibility Criteria- Age between 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence Qualification- 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for AF/Navy Marital Status- Un Married Application to be Received by- As per UPSC notification Likely SSB Date- Sep to Oct and Jan to Apr Date Commencement of Trg- Jan and Jul Training Academy- NDA , Khadakwasla, Pune Duration of Trg- 3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yrs at IMA(For Army cadets)/ 3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yrs at Naval Academy( for Naval cadets)/ 3 Yrs at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Yrs at AFA Hyderabad (For AF cadets) also there will be some round of medical test to take you into NDA. best wishes. |

My dear friend you can gather this necessary information from the official website of UPSC i.e www.upsc.gov.in.
I can not help you further because you have not mentioned particularly that which wing in NDA you really want to go into. Because the eye sight requirements for the 3 wings i.e ARMY, AIR FORCE and NAVY are different. So you can check it on the website that i have referred you to. Thanks. |
