Am I eligible for UES and CDS exams having one backlog in Civil Engineering?
Sir, I am a civil engineering student of 3rd year. I want to become an Army Officer. I have a back paper in 5th semester. Can I give exam like UES, CDS after 3rd year? Or did I need to clear my back paper before appearing the exam?

1. To apply for University Entry Scheme and Combined Defence Services, you must have completed bachelor's degree in engineering or in final year of bachelor's degree.
2. You can not apply for UES, CDS exam with one backlog in bachelor's degree. |

UES and CDS stands for University Grants Scheme and Combined Defence Services. No, candidates with backlog in bachelor's degree can not apply for these exams.
You must clear all your existing backlogs to become eligible for this exam in final year of bachelor's degree. |
