Am I eligible to write IAS exam after doing B.E CSE?


i am doing my BE(CSE)...am i eligible to write IAS exam?

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services .IAS exam is conducted by UPSC.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam .

If you have completed Graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IAS exam.There is no marks criteria.Final year student are applicable for IAS Exam.

So if you are from BE (CSE) final year then only you are applicable for IAS Exam .

Age criteria for IAS exam for general candidate is 21 to 30 years old.

The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

IAS exam conduct in 3 steps like - 1)Preliminary Exam 2)Mains Exam 3)Personal Interview.

You can apply for IAS after completing graduation. Graduates below 30 years of age are eligible for IAS. Reserved category applicants can expect relaxation in age. Upper age limit for OBC is 33 years and that for SC/ST is 35 years. Generally candidates can attend the test at most 4 times.
