AMICE (I) Section A and B subjects passed can appear in IES 2017?
Hi sir, I have completed Amice (I) section A and B passed. Still project work balance is left, is I'm eligible to apply for the entrance exam of IES -2017?

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service. This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: Candidate should be citizen of India. Educational Qualification: Candidate should complete the graduation in Engineering from any recognised University. Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible for this exam. Percentage not required for this exam. Age Limit: Candidate minimum age limit is above 21 years. Candidate maximum age limit is below 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. 3 years OBC Candidates. 5 years for SC\ST candidates. 10 years for PH candidates. Number of attempts: 3 attempts for General 5 attempts for OBC No limits for SC\ST Gender: Both male and female candidates are eligible for IES Exam. Selection Process: Preliminary Exam Main Exam Interview List of Optional subjects: One Engineering Discipline should be chosen from the following categories: Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering The written examination will comprise two sections: Section I - objective types questions Section II – conventional (essay) type questions papers. |
