offers courses in b.tech and post graduation course.

so it does not offer any diploma course in power.

yes, there is different certificate in the NPTI, for the electrical students .

so if you want to do the certificate course then you can apply there.

and you can check the fee structure of the particular course from the office of the NPTI.

this course is known as ADVANCE DIPLOMA in electrical engineering.

there are total nine NPTI institutes in India. they are in haryana, Nagpur, durgapur(west Bengal) etc.

you can do course in any NPTI according to your facility.

the fees for ADVANCE DIPLOMA in electrical engineering is about 85,000.

the duration of this course is one year.

The Basic eligibility criteria for NPTI admissions is that ...
1. Candidate must have completed BE/BTech in the discipline of EEE/ECE
2. Aggregate must be 60% and above in BE/BTech.
3. Age less than 30

And about the fee and location.. it differs with the course opted for.

One Year Post Diploma in THERMAL POWER PLANT ENGINEERING (2010-11) at National Power Training Institute, Southern Region, Block 14/21, Neyvelli-607 803
Three-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/electrical and electronics/instrumentation and control/electronics and instrumentation from a recognised technical board with minimum 60% maks with class I/I Grade. Age limit of 27 years as on September, 30, 2010.

my self akash i am persuing BE in electrical.i was complited my diploma in telecommunication but i am intrested in advance course in electrical.which option better for me of one year diploma in electrical
