I am living in new sangavi,pune-27. Please tell me which bank is available for application form of gate exam?

You can get the form from STATE BANK OF INDIA,(Main,Deccan Gymkhana).
As you are in Pune you might be knowing this place quite well.But do remember the last date to obtain it from the banks is 27/10/2010.

GATE exam is conducted based on the constitution of 8 Zones. You fall in Zone 2, IIT Bombay as you have already mentioned your current location, which is New Sangavi, Pune.

In Zone 2, State bank Of India has been authorized with the distribution of GATE Apllication form and dedicated branches for the same in your zone are:

Ahmednagar (Manamad Road), Akola (Sastri Nagar), Amravati (Near Shyam Talkies), Aurangabad (Kranti Chowk), Gulbarga (Super Market), Jalgaon, Jodhpur (High Court Complex), Kolhapur (Dasara Chowk), Latur (Opp. Bus Stand), Loni (Near Swami Samarth Mandir) Mumbai (Andheri W- Shopper's Stop; Dadar-SS Wagh Marg; IIT Powai; Main Br-Samachar Marg), Nagpur (Rly. Stn.), Nanded (Vazirabad), Nashik (Near Hotel Samrat), Navi Mumbai (Belapur), Pandharpur (Sawarkar Road), Panjim (Near Hotel Mandavi), Pune (Main; Deccan Gymkhana), Rajkot (Near Civil Hospital), Sangli (Ganapati Mandir), Satara (Pratap Ganj), Shegaon, Solapur (Budhwar Peth), Surat (Near Sambhaji Garden), Thane (Tembi Naka), Vadodara (Mandvi Branch), Wardha (Dr. J.C. Kumarappa Marg)

canara bank will provide you the GATE application form.

The only banks from which you can collect your GATE application form is CANARA BANK..any branch will provide you the pplication...In case the forms in the banks are over you can also fill it up...through internet online..

SBI Main branch and Deccan Gymkhana.

The GATE forms are available at SBI (State Bank of India). For Pune, the forms are available at SBI Main Branche and SBI at Deccan Gymkhana.
You can apply through online if you didn't get the application form. The process is much easier and it will be very convenient for you. The last date for form filling is on
27th October, 2010 . Please hurry.
