Re: Basic and gross salary of fresher CDSE, IAS and IPS?
UPSC [Union Public Service Commission] conducts these exams for recruiting young and dynamic officers to look after the prescribed duties.
The basic salary starts at Rs.15,000 and including other allowances like TA, DA, HRA, it almost reaches Rs.30,000. Moreover, you get a fairly large accommodation and a vehicle with a driver and an assistant. Really speaking, being an army officer or a police officer, is not about money. You need to have a strong sense of patriotism to protect your country and dedication to improve the lives of people to cater to. One needs to develop exemplary administrative skills to co-ordinate resources available to him/her and produce best results. It is about creating a favorable environment for over all progress of common man. If it is money that you care about more than the things above, you better search for a job in corporate field. |

Re: Basic and gross salary of fresher CDSE, IAS and IPS?
I am Chemical Engineer & hold MBA from UK University. I work for a MNC & earn gross of 8.25 PA. I do have passion to become IAS Officer considering the glamour associated, Job Satisfaction & respect in the society for the No.1 Position. However, I want to know what would be the Monthly Take away of an IAS Officer for first 2 years & then for next every 3-4 years. The Grade Pay scale & all is confusing & it is difficult to interpret the Monthly Take home. If anyone can throw a light on the same, it will be highly appreciated.

Re: Basic and gross salary of fresher CDSE, IAS and IPS?
I.p.s(indian police service) is post given by u.p.s.c board after facing civil service exam sucessing with good rank. For that you have to give that exam with youe optional among 23 subject.from this year there are some changes in exam like csat so you have to br aware about that syllabus.
Detail about upsc civil service exam is as follows. Prelim (400 marks) mains(2000marks) interview(300 marks) prelim is only for eligibility in mains and mains and interview together decides your rank about posting. There are some other subject like english and one of regional language that is only qualify. If youe rank is good you will get i.a.s of i.p.s and on the basis of your physical test you may get i.p.s post |
