Definitely BSc from a good college is far better than BCA. After BSc you can get job in any field while after BCA you can get job only in some companies where computer is used. After BSc you have more option for higher studies .Some courses are-

MSc

MS

MCA

MBA

MSc-PhD

You can apply for the jobs in MNC's companies like

These companies which has been hire the BCA students but you must have knowledge about these courses like

There is no any best and worse course. Its depends upon your Interest and Knowledge and what you want to be after doing the course.B.sc(Bachelor of Science) and BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) both are 3 years degree course. But the basic difference is that :-
  • BCA is a Professional course. After doing BCA you will not be able to apply for B.Ed course. It will only deals with computer science and Computer related Mathematics subjects.
  • B.Sc has Five flavors. You can do Honors in Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Mathematics.
However after doing any of these course you will able to get jobs in Government organizations. The exams in which you can apply for are :-
~UPSC IAS/IPS/IFS.
~SSC UDC.
~IBPS PO/Clerk.
~SBI PO.
~CDS(For B.SC Honors candidates).
~RRB.

But if you will do BCA your chances of getting jobs in Private Organizations are maximizes. After completing this course you will able to work as :-
  • Network Administrator.
  • Software Tester.
  • Software Developer.
  • System Designer.
  • Troubleshoot Engineer.
  • Database Manager.
There are various Information Technology Organizations in which you will able to work. These are :-
  • DELL.
  • Acer.
  • HP.
  • Airtel India.
  • Relience Telecom.
  • Axis Bank.
  • ICICI.
  • Oracle India.
  • Satyam.
