Hello sir i got 4347 rank in GATE in cs stream.I dont have any reservation.Can you please suggest the best colleges to apply any where in india

you can all knowledge about it through related website because they mentioned on websites the corresponding colleges with the corresponding rank

i dont think that you are going to get any iit,
the best place to apply is the nit
all the best,
you can also go for colleges like delhi university,jhadavpur university

i dont think that you are going to get any good college with your rank also you being from general category
i will advice you to go for long term if you really want to go for mtech or look for some good job

The marks vary amongst the other in each possibility of your thought and capability. Ask your seniors and best of luck

It sometimes happen likes so.
There is lot of streams and seats in srm than clleges filling under GATE score.
So,whatever you choose,its on this state

I dont think that you may get any IIt's but you can try for any NIT's.
I give you a site from where you can get number of colleges with previous ranking.
So, you can easily choose college.

My All India Rank in GATE'11 is 18584 and I have OBC quota.......What collleges I might get......Plz give me some appropriate options I should go for.

Your rank is not able to get the IIT colleges but you surely get a good college in NIT or other university.

you can also go for colleges like delhi university,jhadavpur university,andhra pradesh university.

If you write in 3rd year itself you got an idea about GATE exam and how t o prepare that. There is no such problem you can directly write in 4th year. I suggest you that 3rd year is best choice to write GATE exam. The GATE exam will be held on second Sunday of February of every year

4.In State universities/Colleges(JNTU,Osmania,COEP,VJTI,CET,PES,PICT …)85% reservation for that state students.
5.Again…quality of institute is serious matter for M.Tech…Getting admission is not a big thing.
6.Above list is made as GENERAL category. OBC have small advantage. SC/ST have good chance eventhough not a good rank.
