What is best course in dpharma or bpharmacy is there any ph d Aftr d pharma r any course nd Wat is the average placements for dpharma students In private colleges

Though D-Pharmacy and B-Pharmacy are Pharmacy related courses, D-Pharmacy is a Diploma course with the duration of 2 years and B-Pharmacy is a Bachelor level course with the duration of 4 years.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to join these courses is by completion of 12th class with Science subjects like
Botany
Zoology
Physics
Chemistry

One can B-Pharmacy course in 2 modes. First mode is getting direct admission for B-Pharmacy course. In this case, the duration would be 4 years to complete B-Pharmacy course.

The other mode of joining is through lateral entry scheme. Under this scheme, the candidates would first join D-pharmacy course which will take 2 years to complete and then get admission into 2nd B-Pharmacy course through lateral entry. So, it will take more 3 years to complete B-Pharmacy. In total, it will take 5 years to complete B-Pharmacy in this mode.

So, doing D-Pharmacy course is not necessary for the candidates in order to complete B-Pharmacy course.

If you would like to do D-Pharmacy before doing B-Pharmacy, you can opt for it otherwise you directly join B-Pharmacy course.

As per placements you requested, it is not at all a good choice to go for jobs after D-Pharmacy as it is very low level course and candidates will not be given good salaries and good job designations. Pharmaceutical colleges may not bring top companies for Placements for D-Pharmacy as there would be less openings for D-Pharmacy candidates in Pharma companies.

Yes. You can do Ph.D course in the field of Pharmacy. But for that, the minimum academic qualification is M-Pharmacy which stands for Masters in Pharmacy with the duration of 2 years.

What I suggest you is don't go for jobs after D-Pharmacy. Try to complete at least B-Pharmacy to get some good jobs.
