Actually you know what this is kinda funny question as i can say god knows

But yeah you really cant predict the future. As of now Computer science and Electronics are hot favorites. Some few year back Civil Engineering had less scope but now no one imagined that civil engineers will churn out so much of money and jobs

so in short no one knows. Its better to go for your interest instead of asking which will be better after 4 years. If you top your class then no doubt even if you are from the worst branch you will be placed well equal to the top stream. So it depends how you study

It is difficult to predict which stream is best in coming 4 or 5 years.
A student of any stream can get the job on the basis of his/her skill,aptitude & intellegency.

Mechanical stream is good it contain vast physics & drawing the structures.

Electronics is also good but it is very difficult an all semester it contain 6 subjects which are around circuits ,electronic devices, signals.

You can choose on the basis of your interest

These stream in engineering are the best in upcoming years. So, you can choose one of the field to make your career bright in future. All the stream in engineering have its own importance. But Mechanical stream is always evergreen field in upcoming years and you well definately get a job after completing your course from mechanical field.

So, these given field are the best field in upcoming years. So, you can do your engineering course from any one of them-

Computer science

Electronics

as we all know that India is a developing country and it's economic growth rate is also high.

so in the upcoming years many foreign companies have invested in INDIA in sectors like INFRASTRUCTURE, POWER,STEEL,MINING and in many more fields.

so streams like CIVIL,MECHANICAL,ELECTRICAL are going to be advantageous in the upcoming years but there is no guaranty about this bcoz market values are always unstable.

Civil Engineering & Architecture: Growing population and Infrastructure, Man can not leave residing in homes, work can not be stopped because of Buildings of Offices, Railways, Metros, Roads etc. can never be stopped till man is alive in this world.

Mechanical Engineering(Including its branches): Vehicles can never be stopped runing, Machines can never stop functioning, Factories can never be shut down for ever, Any country can never stop building its defence stronger etc.... then how could Mechanical Engineering lost.

Computer Engineering:- I am writting because of it, you are reading because of it, Traffic lights are working because of it, We are electing Minister by pressing a button because of it, Mathematics and Physics not paralised because of it, Robots are Functioning well because of it, This website is because of it, Thne how it may end......!

Yeah they may be lows and downs in this sector always, but cant lost.

According to me you must go for any of these three core branches.
1.Electrical branch
2.Mechanical branch
3.Civil branch

And if you are interested in computers then you have one more choice - computer science.
All these have good scope in future.
High pay scale you earn from any of these branch.

Every department of engineering is important and there future is interrelated to a certain extent. There is a demand for experts in every field, i.e. mechanical, computer, civil engineers etc. and will be same in the coming future. But yes, the demand fluctuates and this happens in every field.
As per the present scenario, there is a huge demand for civil engineers because of the infrastructural development throughout India. Expansion in the field of railways, power sectors, malls etc. has open up lots of job opportunity for civil engineers in this country and will definitely accelerate in future. Along with it, the development policies of indian government has also provided employement to civil engineers in the last few years and the same is expected in the coming future.
This does not mean that there is less demand for computer and mechanical engineers. The future of your career depends upon your hard work and dedication, if you are able to give your 100% in the area of your expertise, success is never too far.

we are not sure of the market up and downs so its hard to tell about the futures of engineering branches. But, based on the surveys and analysis i can say that in the field of computer science /Information science & engineering there would be a great rise in these sectors ..As the banking and healthcare sectors are in demand so the oppurtunities would be there for a software engineers.

In my opinion mechanical or electronics are good branches.

the field of biotechnology and civil are fast evolving.see colleges are fine but the essence is that you need to have a grasp over the streams you choose.

you can get at various engg. colleges and at primer institutuions of learning.

Now days the stream which is more popular are ECE, EEE, COMPUTER SCIENCE,INSTRUMENTATION and Mechanical engineering( for boys basically)

all stream are best for engineering but you its depend for you can choose which stream. my thinks is say that mechanical branch is best for engineering.because its branch various do hard work and also do for manufacture some parts which his hands.and also mechanical branch is a evergreen.if yo have complete with 70 to 80% so you have various scope like raiwlays, jcb companys, herohonda industry and tata also. and other choices for jobs as bhel factory and ongc also

If you want to choose the best the stream then it is not possible to give a single name.
Their must be 2 or 3 name for suggestion you have to choose the one in which you have interest.

1. Mechanical : most demanding in theses days .A lot of govt jobs then CSE & IT. like in ONGC etc.

2. Electronics & Communication : demanding & tuffer than all other branches . Have a lot of jobs in govt. sector likje in BHEL , IOCL , BSNL etc.

3. Information Technology/CSE : India in too forward in software industry . India is in 3rd ranking of software industry. Their are a lot of MNC's and private companies offers a great package.
IT: software,animation,java,ssp,ab.net.broad band communication
CSE:core hardware,automata,core operating system.

Actually all the stream in the engineering has its own value but the main thing is market position.
the demand of stream will be varies with the market condition not as per interest.
Now a day computer science/IT stream has good market.....But mechanical, civil, Electrical are the evergreen branch. These are fixed market values as there are not any fluctuation in the market of these field.
But i suggest choose stream of you choice because you have to handle it for 4year.

If you want job security then go with these evergreen electronics,mechanical and electrical engineering streams and if you want to learn something different than real world and take risk you can go for computer science and engineering if you are fond of knowing how software world works.

craze for electrical, mechanical and civil will remain same as they are the core engineering courses.
IT may also grow in next few years.
besides you will get jobs in any course you do on the basis of your skills.
