you can initiate your verbal ability practice by following "Wren and Martin book" ,when you learn a bit then follow Norman Lewis's "word power made easy"-it is a fabulous book (teaches words on "root" basis"), after that you may concern verbal ability book of R.S. Agarawal. hope you do well in XAT all the best |

Mathematics by R.S.Agarwal S.L.Gulathi Reasoning by R.S.Agarwal [Verbal and Nonverbal] Marksman Reasoning English Wren and Martin.[English Grammar ] Antonyms and Synonyms [Arihant Publication] Thesaurus [Idioms and phrases] If the candidates read these books properly and solve all the questions repeatedly, they can certainly achieve their goal. After these all they should also have a good idea of General knowledge, General science and current affairs. They should read an English newspaper and economic times. Editorial of newspaper should also be studied properly in order to be benefitted. They should also pay attention towards group discussion by going through various current affairs. Current affairs play a vital role in consolidating the basic knowledge tom withstands the tough competition of GD. ALL THE BEST |
