Its no use listing a large number of books. One has to be practical - one has to cramp the info into the mind in 2 years. So here goes...

PHYSICS
Resnick-Halliday-Walker
HC Verma
NCERT (It is a bad copy of Resnick-Halliday, but it has many other good additions also)

CHEMISTRY
Morrison-Boyd organic
NCERT Physical
JD Lee Inorganic (Selected chapters only)

MATHEMATICS
SL Loni - Trigo & Conics
RS Aggarwal - Matrix, Determinant
Higher Algebra by Hall & Knight
NCERT - examples

Above all, practice competition-grade problems regularly. Good luck

Yes RD Sharma Objective is a perfect book for AIEEE(though not for IIT JEE). It is self sufficient to cater all your needs for AIEEE.

2-for chemistry p.bahadur or o.p. tandon

3-for mathematics r.d.sharma or arihant

also the books of arihant publication are the best books untill they have high quality of matter referance against aieee.

As you know that the AIEEE exam is given by many aspirants, so in this case we need to be better than the rest to get a good seat, and for that we have to score well.

For a good score , you have to prepare well an that requires that you to study from the book which is easy to understand and also covers all the topics that are of prime importance.

So I suggest that you use the following books:

Physics:
*Arihant Publication
*H.C.Verma(A Must)
*NCERT(A Must)

Mathematics:
*M.L.Khanna(A Must Must)
*R.D.Sharma and R.S.Agarwal(A Must)
Also, refer to M.L.Khanna

Chemistry:
*O.P.Agarwal
*NCERT(A Must)

Apart from these books I suggest that you take mock test to assess your self and see what are your week areas and where can you improve.
The Mock test gives you an idea of what to expect in the exam and as well s increases your speed and gives you the confidence to score better than the others.

Good Luck!

In aieee exam three parts will be available. First physics your 12th will be there. Next chemistry that is also 12th. Finally mathematics it is a very important. Because more questions will be there in this section that is also from 12th. Get clear these 3 subjects and score well

dear friend,
for cracking aieee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from
tata mcgraw hills for maths
d c pandey for physics
arihant for chemistry
you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam.
while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution.
you must remember these tips to get good result.
good luck.

Smile Re: Which books to follow for AIEEE preparation?

For preparation of AIEEE you need a moderate standard. The books that are considered best when it comes to AIEEE are:

PHYSYCS: H. C. Verma, NCERT, Resnick-Halliday-Walker

CHEMISTRY: NCERT, Pradeep objective Chemistry

Maths: NCERT, R. D. Sharma Objective, Arihant Series

Solve and revise at regular intervals.
Don't go for too tough books as the Level of AIEEE questions is moderate and you need to cover the entire portion in limited period.

All the best

Hi there
The aieee exam is held every year for admission in institutes such as NITs, IIITs, BIT mesra, amongst others for engineering.
The portion for this exam consists of the syllabus of cbse board for class 11th and 12th since this exam is conducted by the cbse board itself.
Now since the portion includes 11th standard portion, one must definitely start the exam preparation from 11th standard itself and take the edge over other aspirants as around 11 lakh students appear for this exam and only close to 33000 get a seat through it. The paper is mostly easy as it tests the knowledge of the candidate more than the mental ability to apply concepts, which means that even above average students can excel in this exam. It is highly recommended to completely go through the ncert books for preparation of aieee exam as most questions are a part of the theory of ncert books.Once you're thorough with ncert, you can pick the advanced books to boost your confidence and problem solving skills.
Good luck.

For AIEEE study your NCERT textbook first as the paper is totally based on NCERT book.then go through R.D.Sharma and M.L.khanna for mathematics.
