Re: Books to be referred for preparations for IIT exam?
Quote:
At first I want to say that IIT-JEE is one of the most tough exams in India. Many students requires 2 to 3 attempts or even more to crack this exam. But there are also many students, who can crack this exam in first attempt. If some one really work hard, study hard, engage himself/ herself completely in preparing for IIT-JEE, he/ she must succeed. Dont follow too many books, which will confuse you rather. Only follow limited and selected books that suits you well... The name of some books that can help are as follows....... Chemistry S.No. Author/Publisher Name of the Book 1 NCERT Chemistry XI & XII 2 P. Bahadur Physical Chemistry 3 Arihant Prakashan Organic Chemistry 4 O.P. Re: Books to be referred for preparations for IIT exam?
Hi
IIT JEE is the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted by the IIT every year as an entrance to get into the IIT's for studying graduation course of B.Tech. The Basic Eligibility Criteria to sit for the IIT JEE are : 1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school or state board in India with a minimum aggregate of 60%. 2. You must have studied the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 3. You can take only 2 consecutive attempts in IIT JEE i.e One right after your boards and the other the following year. Now regarding which books to follow for the IIT, I would rather say forst master the NCEART's. They are the best books to learn and understand the basic concepts in all the three subjects. Once you think you have done your NCEART books, then you can refer other books. I am providing you with a list of books, that you may refer for better preparations for the IIT. Also Click Here to visit a website having detailed list of reference books for the JEE preparations. Hope this helps All the best Regards #RJ# |
