I'm studying Diploma in Civil Engineering. Can I change my branch in B.Tech? If yes, then which branch should I opt? Being from Civil background which other branch would be more beneficial for me?

After completion of your Diploma in Civil Engineering, it is best to pursue B.E/ B.Tech course. If you continue your studies in the same stream, you can improve your subject knowledge. Being a Diploma holder, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.E/ B.Tech course through lateral entry admission process. After completion of your B.E/ B.Tech Civil Engineering course, you can find number of job opportunities in both private and public sector companies.
