Hello Sir, I am planning to study BSc with Mathematics course. My Board exam is over now of 12th standard. I like Mathematics but my parents are telling me to study BTech course. I just want to know that which one has better scope?

In between BTech or BSc, BTech is best from my point of view because we have more jobs in technical areas inspite of authentic areas related to BSc.

Some of the companies are below :-
Ekati
DLF India
Microsoft
Hyundai etc.

BSc stands for - Bachelor of Science

BTech stands for - Bachelor of Technology

My suggestion BTech is best option.

BTech best branches like :=
Civil
Mechanical
Electrical
Computer
Electronics
Agriculture.

Personally I would like to suggest you to pursue BTech course rather than pursuing BSc mathematics because you will have scope more after btech because you will get placement after doing it in different companies according to your percentage and skill where is after completing BSc mathematics you won't have any placement.

I think you should listen to your parents at this time because they are right because after completion of BTech course you will have more job opportunities in private sector as well whereas if you pursue BSc in mathematics then you will have to appear in competitive exams in order to get government job like banking exams or clerical exams. BSc mathematics students have no placement in any company.

Undoubtedly, Bachelor of Technology is a professional course and it has more job and career opportunities as compared to Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

You must go for Bachelor of Technology in Mathematics.

Both B.tech and B.SC are best in it's own terms .
Students select it based on their level of interest or social status ,peer pressure or a good career prospective.

The trend today is joining a good engineering college and then join MNC and earn a good income
But at the end I suggest you to pursue a path of your passion..
