CPT is the Common Proficiency Test. This test is the first step towards the Chartered Accountancy course.
If you are interested in Chartered Accountancy course, you need to enroll for CPT. You can give this test after completing 10+2 from a recognized board. So CA course registration is same as the CA CPT registration. This test is conducted by the ICAI two times every year in June and December.
