The selection is based on Written test followed by personal Interview. So, please prepared well for this examination and then apply for IES. The candidates will be completed graduation in any of the following discipline are eligible Electronics engineering, Electronics and communicational engineering, Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering. IES - Indian Engineering Service exam is conducted by the UPSC once in a year. Eligibility criteria: Those candidates who are applying should be complete graduation from any recognised university. You should be a citizen of india. Age limits is 21years to 30years. Final year candidates are also eligible. Selection procedure; Preliminary exam, Main exam, Interview. IES(indian engineering service) Eligiblity for IES EXAM; a candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary, may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued by the Government of India. candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, of the current year. Ur the eligible to the IES exam. IES (Indian Engineering Service) the exam is conducted by the UPSC (Union public Service Commission) once in a year. ELIGIBITY CRITERIA : => The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university. => Final year candidates are also eligible. => Age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. => Candidate should be a citizen of india. The engineering candidates required Electronical Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering IES stands for Indian Engineering Services. The exam will be conducted by the UPSC. Eligibility criteria: the candidate should completed graduation with any stream from a recognized university. The candidate should be a citizen of india. The age limit should be 21 to 30 years. sir i completed b.e aeronautical engineering and now join m.e thermal engineering. They both department is in mechanical discipline. Some person say that is cross degree so in feature so many problem will be come. So tell sir what i do.

If everyone is asking the electrical field,mechanical,civil and etc and what about other engineers like aeronautical and aerospace ,it also under comes b.tech and b.e categories why we are the one, always left out. Cant we apply for any other government field except aai. Then please next time if you guys are mentioning b.tech and b.e specify that, exclude aeronautical and aerospace engineers.
