NET stands for National Eligibility Test and the examination is conducted by UGC for recruitment as lecturer as well as for JRF.
The minimum required qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed master's degree with minimum 55% and relaxation in aggregate for reserved category. So, you are not eligible to appear for examination with bachelor degree qualification. For more information about examination visit at www.ugc.ac.in |

# No, you are not eligible to apply for NET examination with your Graduation in commerce stream qualification.
Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE) conducts NET exam twice every year on behalf of University Grants Commission(UGC) to select the candidates for JRF and Assistant professor(Lectureship) in Indian universities and colleges. # Eligibility for NET exam : -> Educational qualification required is Master degree with atleast 55% of marks in aggregate from UGC recognised college or university & 50% of marks for OBC, SC, ST and PWD candidates. -> Final year pursuing master degree students are also eligible to apply for this exam. -> Age limit to apply for JRF is 28 years and 5 years age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST and PWD candidates. And there is no maximum age limit for Assistant Professor. -> Examination fee is Rs.1000/- for General category, Rs.500/- for OBC category and Rs.250/- for SC, ST category candidates. # So, you can apply for NET examination after the completion of your master degree. # For further information please check www.cbsenet.nic.in |
