can ece engineers apply for electical jobs...please tell me whether its possible

Yes, it is possible for Electronics and Communication Engineering candidate to apply for the jobs where electrical engineers are eligible.

In some of the jobs where there is requirement of electrical and electronics engineers, for these jobs candidates from both electrical and electronics stream are eligible to apply for that particular job.

In some of the companies like National Thermal Power Corporation, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, both electrical and electronics engineers can apply for the exam and jobs.
