Sorry to say that Girls candidate are not applicable for NDA Exam .Because Only Unmarried Male candidate are applicable for NDA exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

Selection procedure for NDA exam:-

• Written test
• Interview
• Medical

Syllabus for Entrance Examination:-

• Paper I - Mathematics : (Maximum Marks 300)
Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics.

• Paper II - General Ability
Part A - English (Maximum Marks 200)
Part B - General Knowledge (Maximum Marks 400)


From my point of view , You can go for Graduation degree first .If you are really interested in defence sector then you can apply CDS exam after graduation because Girls are applicable for CDS exam.

No, Girls can not apply for nda exam. only male candidate are eligible for this exam.

UPSC(Union Public Service Commision) conduct the NDA exam two time in year for three wings of NDA--

Airforce,Army,Navy & Navel Academy.

candidate should be pass 12th class with Physics, mathematics, and Chemistry around 55% marks from a recognized college.

Final year students of 12th class are also eligible for NDA.

Only unmarried male candidate can apply.

Age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.

If you wish to join another defence system then you should have to apply for CDS exam after graduation.
Girls can also apply for CDS.

NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conducted by the upsc twice in a year.

That means

NDA-I
NDA-II

NDA has following three wings

Indian Army

Indian Air force

Navy

Eligibility criteria:

the candidate should be citizen of india.

The candidate complete the 12th level from recognized state board of india.

There is no minimum percentage required to candidate eligible for this exam.

The indian air force and navy exams science stream candidates are eligible.
The commerce students are not eligible.

The minimum age is 16.5 years and the maximum age is 19 years.

There is no age criteria for other candidates.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

Girls are not eligible for this exam.

The candidate should be physically fit.

Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidates to apply for this Exam.

One should have completed 12th class from a recognized college to apply for Army wing.

But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, the candidate should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects.

The candidate should possess an age between 16.5 years to 19 years. No relaxation will be provided in upper age limit for the candidates of any category.

The nationality of the candidate should be India.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to give this Exam. Female candidates are not allowed to give this Exam.

If you are a girl, I am sorry you can not take this Exam.

However you can make your entry into defence services after completion of your Graduation.

Opt for the Graduation in the stream in which you are interested and then apply for CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services Exam) for Officers Training Academy.
