Can I appear for CBSE improvement exam after a gap of one year .As I passed my 12th in 2014 and then drop one year due to some reason now I want to improve my marks in maths only so can I appear for improvement in 2016

No, you cannot appear for the improvement exam for any of the subject in class 12th in the year 2016. According to the CBSE guiding principle for improvement exam eligibility for a candidate is that the candidate can apply for the improvement exam only in the consecutive year after 10+2.

As you pass the 12th exam in 2014 therefore, according to the CBSE Examination guidelines, your eligibility to appear for CBSE Improvement exam for 10+2 in 2016 gets failed. You should have applied for the improvement exam in 2014-15 from August till the month of October for which exams would have held in March 2015 and the result would have released in May 2015. I have appeared for boards in 2017 but I failed in maths and I am giving compartment in 2018 can I appear for improvement after this which will be held in March 2019
