under your degree course you can appear for the gate exam,
one can also sit in 3rd year of their course,
because the gate score is valid for two year.

The exam is mainly for the undergraduate students of B.Tech and for the postgraduate students of the general degree holders of science background.

Sure any student who had finished BE degree can appear for the GATE exam.

There is no particutlar restriction to appear in GATE exam except that you should have no arrears.

Since gate no percentage limit but you should prepare well then only you can get good mark in the exam.

For gate preparation you should be through of all the basic concept of your subjects.

If you clear the gate exam with good mark you will get best colleges in india which comes under gate exam.

So daily preparation is necessary and it must be done with very interest and sincere.

The eligibility required for appearing in the GATE exam are

To appear for Gate exam the minimum eligibility required is B.Tech.
If you have completed your b.tech you can write the entrance exam of Gate.
Gate is a complicated exam one need to work very hard to get seat in IIT's.
It is easy to qualify in the gate exam but getting seat in IIT's is very tough job. If you have got seat in any IIT's there is a good scope in future.
You can get high pay i.e 50,000 to 100000 rs per month.
There is a good scope in the future for the candidates who have finished M.Tech.

They have many opportunities in MNC companies and can work as lecturer in engineering colleges and also can work in many more software companies.
