The minimum criteria for appear in T.Y.B.Com in Mumbai University
through Regular/Full-time/Classroom or Distance Mode exam one must have either:

I. Passed the first Year and Second Year B. Com. examinations, or,
II. passed the First Year B. Com examination and have failed at the
Second year B.Com. examinations in not more than two head of passing
in which case he will be required to appear for the Second Year B.Com.
examination.

There is neither age bar nor year gap considerations. You can appear in the exam
whenever you want to be appear.

The only criteria for appear is education qualification with minimum pass marks
in the qualifying examination.

For giving T.Y.Bcom exam you have to pass out 1st and 2nd year B.com Examination.Without initiating B.com how can you do directly T.Y Bcom.
