what is the syllabus for appearing csir ugc net exam having completed MSc in ZOOLOGY. my friend completed Msc through distance education from andhra university in andhra pradesh. is distance education is eligible for appearing net exam?

Yes, you can apply for the exam of UGC-NET after the M.Sc.
The basic eligibility is master degree in different subjects.

Dear friend ,

You must be completed your master degree in Humanities and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc and have scored 55% marks are eligible to apply for the NET exam.

If your distance course is UGC approved then you are eligible.

For SC,ST,PH candidate must be score at least 50 % in master degree.

Final year candidate are also eligible to apply for the NET test.

Age Eligibility:

For Junior research fellowship: 19 to 28 years.

For lectureship: There is no upper age limit.Minimum age is 19 years.

Your age is 34 years so you are eligible for NET exam (lectureship).
