Dear friends, I have done BSc in Botany, Biotechnology and Chemistry. I did my MSc in Botany. Now, I want to apply for KVS PGT recruitment. Can I apply with Biology subject in this PGT recruitment? Kindly help me in this regard.

Educational qualification required to apply for KVS PGT recruitment with Biology subject being a Botany Postgraduate are as follows:-

Candidate must have Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the following subjects: PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Bio/ Plant Physiology.

Note – Candidate have studied Botany and Zoology at graduation level.

Candidate have B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.

Candidate have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
