NDA is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted twice in a year.
The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination. Examination is conducted in two stages. So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination. NDA stands for National Defence Academy and to join the same, you need to qualify NDA examination held by UPSC twice every year.
Further, the basics qualifications required to apply for the NDA examination are as below :- * You must be an unmarried Indian male candidate. * Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19.5 years. * You must have completed your Class 12th in any stream from a recognised board of education. But, to join Indian Airforce and Indian Navy wings of NDA, you are required to have pursued Mathematics and Physics at your Class 12th level. * You must hold the physical fitness as per the service requirement norms. So, being a student of Class 10th, you are not eligible to apply for the NDA examination. For more detailed information regarding the NDA examination, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in. |

No, you cannot apply for NDA exam just after passing 10th standard.
For applying NDA exam, you must have completed at least 10+2 (in any stream). Appearing candidates of 10+2 can also appear for NDA exam. Also, your age must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years and you must be unmarried male citizen. Note that NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC. |
