Hi, which entrance exam do I need to write for admission in any of the IITs in India? Do I need to write JEE Main or JEE Advanced? Or, both of these? Or, any other entrance is there to join IITs?

You need to write both the entrance exams for getting admission to IITs.

Firstly, you need to apply for JEE Main Exam for which you must have completed/appearing in 10+2 with PCM stream.

After qualifying JEE Main Exam, you will have to apply for JEE Advanced Exam. If you qualify JEE Advanced Exam, then you have to apply for counselling.

If your rank is good enough, then after counseling results, you can get admission to IITs.

Other than JEE Advanced, there is no such exam to get admission to IITs for engineering programme.
