Can I apply for NET if done NET through distance mode?


I have completed MA degree in English in 2013 in distance mode.i got 64% marks. Can i apply for Net? How can i see my registration status?

Yes, you can apply for UGC NET exam in 2016.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by UGC.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.

Yes you can apply for the NET exam in 2016 which can be conducted by the UGC.

eligibility:-

Age is no matter.

Candidate passed the degree studies with atleast 58% marks.

Candidates belong to SC and OBC caste has a age relaxation.
