Can I become an Astronaut with 4.11 feet height being a female candidate?
Sir/Madam, I am a girl studying in 9th standard. It is my dream to become an Astronaut. But my height is 4.11 feel. I am little afraid that whether with this height I will become an Astronaut or not. Please help me to know about this.

To become an Astronaut , 20/20 vision
( either naturally or with corrective lenses) blood pressure not more than 140/90 in a sitting position and a height of between 62 and 75 inches is required. To be a Commander or Pilot Astronaut , one needs to be 158 to 190 cm tall , NASA says. To be a mission specialist , however , there a little more leeway - "between 58.5 and 76 inches" which is 149 to 193 cm. |
