IPS stands for Indian Police service. IPS exam is conducted by the upsc in every year.


Eligibility of IPS officer:

the applicant should be complete the graduation with any stream from a recognized university.

The candidate minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years.

The age relaxation for obc candidates is 3 years and sc/st candidates is 5 years.

The applicant should be citizen of india.

Both male and female candidates are eligible to become IPS officer.

The candidates Physically and medically fit for this exam.

CSAT- Civil Service Aptitude Test.

IPS stands for INDIAN POLICE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.There is no need for particular subject in IPS exam any stream candidates are eligible for this exam.

Graduate students are eligible for this exam,age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.Candidate should be a citizen of india

Strong or weak in Mathematics is not a criteria to become an IPS officer.

IPS - INDIAN POLICE SERVICE, to become an IPS officer one has to appear and crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for or pass the final Graduation Degree exam in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation fior SC/ST candidate up to 5 years and for OBC candidate up to 3 years.

Apart from this the candidate applying for IPS has to undergo a prescribed Physical Fitness Test.

The height of the general male candidate should be 165cm and that to female should be 150cm and in case of SC/ST/OBC male candidate it should be 160cm and that to for female candidate should be 145cm.

Chest should be at least 85cm for male and for female it should be 79cm expandable to 5cm in both the case.

The selection is through three phases:-

-CSAT-CIVIL SERVICE APTUTUDE TEST-PRELIMINARY EXAM

-CIVIL SERVICE MAIN EXAM

-PERSONAL INTERVIEW
