You can do engineering in in information & technology.

For this, you must have studied in PCM in maths. Also, you have to clear entrance exam and a minimum requirement of aggregate percentage in 12th.

There are many govt and private engineering institutes in India for engineering in IT.
You must have atleast 60% in 12th to be eligible for admission in good institute and along with a good rank in IIT JEE main.
You can also apply for VITEEE, BITSAT for admission in BITS, VIT.

IT branch has very good scope for future prospects. Companies like Infosys, Tech mahindra, TCS, IBM, Accenture recruit IT engineers.

Information Technology is one of the most sought streams of engineering. There are different engineering entrance exams after 10+2 for which you can apply to get admission in Information technology.

1. Joint Entrance Exam: This is conducted by CBSE and it has two stages JEE Main and Advanced. Admission to various institutes like NIT, IIT, IIITs and other government engineering colleges are given on basis of rank secured in this exam.

2. State Level Engineering entrance exams.

3. Other entrance exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMEEE etc.

For all these exams, a candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
