i study commerce and i also can doing nda...could u please provide to me the details

Hi friend...........

Yes you can eligible for the NDA exam after studying commerce. But you cane eligible for the only Indian Army.

You need the PCM subjects for the Indian Navy & Air force.

NDA stands for National Defense Service.

This exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year.

NDA have three wings i.e.

Indian Air Force

Indian Army

Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-

The applicant should be complete 12th standard or it's equivalent from a recognized university.

Percentage is not required for this exam.

PCM subjects are required for the Indian Navy & Airforce wings.

Applicant must be a citizen of India.

The age limits are 16.5 years to 19 years and no upper age relaxation.

For India Airforce and Navy you need to complete 12th standard with PCM subjects but no need for Indian army.

Only unmarried and male candidates are eligible.


Selection procedure:-

Written exam,

SSB interview,

Medical test.


Syllabus:-

Mathematics--> 300 marks,

General ability--> 600 marks.

Total 900 marks.

1) Educational Qualifications:-

For Army wing :- Only 12th standard from any stream from recognized board.
For Air Force and Naval Wings :- A candidate must have passed 10+2 with physics and mathematics subjects.

Being a commerce student without mathematics are applicable for only Indian Army post .

2) Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old .There is no age relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidate .
3) Only those candidate have Indian Citizenship can apply here .
4) Unmarried male candidate can apply here .

Height of NDA Exam:-

For Army Wings - 157.5 cms
For Air Force - 162.5 cms

Weight of NDA Exam:-

For Army & Naval Academy : 46-49 kgs.
For Air force :48-52 kgs.

Last date for receipt application form of NDAII Exam date already over for this year so you can try for next year .

From this year NDA application form must be submitted by only online system. The fees for NDA exam is 50/- . You can be paid the amount through SBI Debit/Credit Card or by SBI Net Banking or by depositing directly in SBI .

NDA Written Exam there are two objective type question papers.

First paper is of mathematics (300 Marks)

Second one is of general ability contains English-200 marks

GK- 400 Marks

You can join Indian Army as an Officer through NDA exam. 12th pass students of any stream are eligible for Indian Army through NDA examination.

Dear Friend,

Yes you can appear for NDA examination but you can only get into Indian Army as for Air Force and Navy you must have studied Physics and Mathematics in 12th.

You need to fullfill these criteria to be eligible for NDA:

1. Your age should be between 16 and half years to 19 years at the time of commencement of the course

2. 12th passed

3. Physically and mentally fit.

Eligibility Conditions To Appear For NDA

National Defence Academy Examination is conducted every year for admission of candidates to the following wings :

1) Navy Wing
2) Army Wing
3) Air Force Wing

To appear for Navy and Air Force..one must have Physics and Maths in 12th but for joining the Army Wing..you can be from any stream..

Age Requirements

Age of applicant must be less than 19 years and more than 16.5 years..

Note :- This exam is meant for unmarried male candidates only..

Also, there is no additional age relaxation for reserved categories..

Hence,you are only eligible to apply for Army Wing as you are from Commerce side..

Written Exam in the NDA Exam tests you on :

1) General Ability Test
2) Mathematics

After Written Exam..you will have to clear the Medical Exam and Personal Interview..
