i had completed 12th with science stream & obtain 42% & my age is 22+,
can eligible for ips exam.

I.P.S. stands for Indian Police Services in which appointment is done through
Indian Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC.

Your % of marks in 12th and age, are not the issues but one can apply for
Civil Services Examination only after graduation or during final year of graduation.

The age limitation for the exam is as under.

GEN category students: 21-30 years.

OBC (NC layer) category students: 21-33 years.

GEN category students: 21-35 years.

You should first complete graduation from a recongised university in the discipline of your
choice and then you can apply for the exam.

Yes,you are applicable for IPS exam.

IPS means INDIAN POLICE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.The minimum qualification required for this exam is DEGREE in any discipline from a recognized university.

ELIGIBILITY:

1.Candidate should complete graduation from a recognized university.

2.Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years

3.3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates

4.5 years for SC/ST candidates

SELECTION PROCESS:

1.PRELIMINARY EXAM

2.MAIN EXAM

3.INTERVIEW

NUMBER OF ATTEMPS:

1.4 times for general candidates]

2.7 times for OBC candidates

3.There is no age limit for this SC/ST candidates

you have passed graduate atleast.
age limit is 21-30.
age relaxation is for sc/st as well as obc category.

if i take admission in science in 11 -12th and then go for BA, should i be eligible for the IPS CSAT exam? and will it be advantageous?
