iam studying M pharmacy 1st year in pharmaceutics branch through pgeset and not with GPAT. so please inform me.. can i eligible to write csir exam for doing phd.. and in which branch? either life sciences or chemical sciences..? please inform me sir. your valueble suggestion is very important to me.

Yes, you are eligible for CSIR NET exam. You can choose life science for your written exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.
