Sir, I have secured 54.9% marks in my BCom Honours. I want to apply for direct admission in ICAI program. So, can I get direct admission for ICAI program with this percentage of marks which I have secured in BCom Honours?

ICAI stands for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Chartered Accountancy course has three stages namely:

>>Common Proficiency test.

>>Integrated Professional Competence course.

>>Final course.

Candidates with 55% marks or more in bachelor's degree can directly apply for IPCC stage of this course. Since you have less than required percentage of marks in Bachelor of commerce, you need to apply for Common Proficiency Test.

After clearing CPT, you will be enrolled in Chartered Accountancy course.

The acronym ICAI stands for Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. There are different stages of this course:

Common Proficiency Test.

The second stage is Integrated Professional Competence course.

Final course.

You can not get direct admission in ICAI IPCC because minimum of 55% marks is required. You must apply for Common Proficiency test conducted by ICAI twice every year for admission in ICAI.
