A Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology or Ancient History, with a Minimum 55% U.G degree score is needed to be eligible for Archaeology course. It is a 2 years, full time postgraduate course. At JNU, candidates applying for MA (History) programme are allowed to exercise only one option, that is, Ancient or Medieval or Modern. In your case you will choose ancient. There will be an entrance exam, covering broad areas of the social sciences and other topical issues of current concern. Visit the official website of JNU for further details for masters in Archaeology.
