if i have a supply in b.tech examination then, may i give gate entrance examination?

If the backlogs are already cleared then it is not a problem at all.

If you are going to clear the backlog in coming semesters and you
pass the supplementary exam by the session 2011-12 then also
it is not a problem.
Because your backlog will be cleared by the time your final result comes.

If this backlog is further carried in the session 2012-13 then your B.Tech.
will remain uncompleted, so GATE score will be of no use.

In any case, you should appear the exam for sure because there is no

So try to clear all your Backlog as soon as possible,so that you cannot miss the wonderful opportunities to pursue M.Tech in top engineering colleges,after clearing the GATE entrance exam.

And the GATE entrance exam will be valid for 2 years.

GATE exam is conducted every years under different engineering discipline. Certain changes are made from the oncoming year. The eligibility for the exam includes
1. The aspirant should have completed bachelor degree from a any engineering discipline.
Final year aspirant are also eligible for appearing in the exam.
The gate score is valid for a period of two years and the aspirant can not make use of it later. If you complete your backlog within the expiry of the gate score then you can make use of it for the admission into the masters course or for the public sector companies. But if you are not able to make use of the score within two years then the score becomes in valid and you need to appear in the exam again. There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. And the aspirant can attempt the exam any number of times.

Backlog students also can apply for GATE exam,but the candidate should be in final year to apply for Gate-2012 exam. The candidate with backlog should attach the mark list to application form while applying for the gate entrance exam.But keep in mind that you have to clear all your examinations at the time of counselling after you have qualified in GATE exam. At that time you have to present all your Degree marks copy , your Provisional , 10th standard memo in original as they verify and allow you to attend counselling.

So friend i suggest you to clear all your subjects as soon as possible , so that you will be eligible for GATE counselling.

GATE - GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST FOR ENGINEERS can be given if the backlogs are cleared before sitting for GATE.

Only graduate degree holder in engineering are eligible for GATE.

yes of course you can give the exam , you must clear your all backlogs before taking addmission in m.tech, the gate score is valid upto 2 years

If you clear your backlog before final semester results then you can definitely apply for GATE this year.

As GATE eligibility is "Candidate must hold B.E/B.tech or should be in the Final year of such courses."

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India test.

If You have backlogs in B.Tech you are not eligible to write GATE exam.

The following are the ways to Eligible to write the Gate exam:

> Candidates should have the second year or more in the Integrated Master’s degree course (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering and Technology.

> Candidates should pass in the tests carried out by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

> Post graduates in Science/statistics/maths/computer students who are in the last year of these courses
can apply.

> The candidates who finish B.E/ B.Tech/B.Arch course can also apply .

> candidates who are in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree course and Dual Degree course in Engineering/Technology can also apply.

These are the eligibility's required to attempt GATE entrance exam.

To Get seat in Top universities like IIT'S and NIITS you need to work very hard.

You have to take coaching for gate exam definitely because the coaching will be given in different way .The gate coaching will be given by professionals .

If you work hard you will definitely get seat in Top IIT'S,NIIT'S.

No, my friend you will not be eligible for GATE exam..

As you have pending backlogs in B.tech course then you will not be eligible for GATE exam..

So, first clear your backlogs and try to get a complete result then you will be able to appear in GATE exam.

if you have a Backlog in your previous semester ,then there is no problem at all.

If you are going to clear the backlog in the upcoming semester or in the supplementary exam by the session 2011-2012 then there is no problem at all. If you can not cleared this backlog and it will be carried in the next session 2012-2013 then your B.Tech will incomplete , If you clear the Gate Exam then ,the score will be of no use.

There is no restriction in as per no of attempts.

THE ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE EXAM:-

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

To crack the GATE entrance exam,you should have complete B.Tech course or Should be in final year of B.Tech course

The candidate should have completed the Graduation on Engineering with any stream from any recognized university.

GATE scores are based on the performance in the GATE written tests

Even though you have backlogs in your engineering semester,you can clear them before you final year.So after clearing them in your final year you can appear for GATE.If after final year also you have backlogs you can write GATE,but you have submit the mark memo or you have to submit a letter from your principal indicating that you have a backlog in your BTech.Even though you can write the exam with backlogs,but the GATE score is finalized if you cleared the backlogs only.So work hard and clear the backlogs.So that you can appear in the GATE and you can continue further studies.

Yes,you can write GATE with a backlog.But you have to submit marks memo of your degree or letter from your principal which tells that you have backlog in your degree.

Sir,there is no problem of backlogs to write GATE exam but by the time you complete or by the date of result you should clear all your backlogs

No you can not give the GATE entrance exam with having any pending backlogs .GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test for engineering.The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is to have a bachelor degree in engineering stream in any branch from a recognized university with good percentile. or Master degree in the science stream from a recognized university with good percentile.

If you still wish to give this entrance test then you first have to clear all the pending backlogs which you have then only you can appear in this exam.

You can definitely write the GATE exam. In the application form there is nothing specific to your backlog. So you can give it.

If you have backlog and if you have cleared it, then it is not a problem. Suppose if you have still, make sure that you clear it before your admission or interview incase of PSU

Yes you can give Gate exam having with baclogs. But at the time when the result was declered by Gate and you geted a rank on it but the baclog is also having that time you can not get admission by gate.

You can give the GATE exam with having backlog if you have already given the exam for it and waiting for the results. If you don't have given the backlogs exam then you can not successfully clear this exam. If you clear the exam with backlog and when they see your mrksheet with backlog then automatically your admission will be cancelled.
